A five-day masterclass in bending wood and expanding practice.

What happens when rigid becomes plastic? Working with steam boxes and microwaves, hot pipes and luthiers’ pads, lamination, coopering and kerf bending, this workshop explores bent form as both technique and a way of thinking through material.

This is a studio-based week of making, experimentation and material dialogue for designers, sculptors, makers, furniture builders and the curious. Open to all levels.

Cancellation policy

If you cancel more than 4 weeks before the workshop, we will refund your workshop fee less an A$50 administration fee. Cancellations made 2–4 weeks before the workshop receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 2 weeks before the workshop are non-refundable, although a transfer to another workshop may be offered where possible.

If Moonlite Studios cancels or reschedules the workshop, you may choose a full refund or transfer to another date. This policy does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
